C&K Ciappara & Sons Limited, supplier of the products HI GRADE CHICK, is a family-owned business which operates a poultry farm, a poultry slaughterhouse, a cut up plant and cold stores in Qrendi, Malta. The Company was set up back in 1990 by the late Mr. Carmel Ciappara aka Charlie in-Niġma and his wife Mrs. Catherine Ciappara. Thereafter, their eldest son Mr. Emmanuel Ciappara joined the business as one of the employees and later on, in 2010, he joined as one of the directors to replace his late father’s position together with Catherine Ciappara to operate the Company.

Mr. Emmanuel Ciappara always looked further and had the vision to improve and expand the company’s operation. Furthermore to help in the expansion and operation, as from 2022, Mr. Emmanuel Ciappara’s daughters - Ms. Yanika Ciappara and Ms. Loredana Ciappara - joined the team to operate in different sections of C&K Ciappara & Sons Limited.

The company is nowadays managed by Mrs. Catherine Ciappara and her son Mr Emmanuel Ciappara with the backing of his family.

Mr Emmanuel Ciappara and his daughter Ms. Loredana Ciappara manage their own poultry farm. They are one of the biggest farmers that supply locally farmed chickens to our company together with another 12 professional farmers who also supply to our slaughtering plant locally farmed chicken on a daily basis.
